The Eleventh Stated Meeting of the Lowcountry Presbytery will be held, Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Church Creek Presbyterian Church in Charleston, SC. Welcome Notes from Church Creek:
As you know, Church Creek will be hosting presbytery on Saturday, July 28, and as usual we will begin promptly with worship at 9am. We are delighted to have Dr. Ligon Duncan preach for us, and as such, we would love to see the church fill up with people from our sister churches and interested friends.
Please do extend an invitation to your respective congregations, but we would ask you to collect a head count and to respond with that count prior to Friday, July 20. We simply want to insure we will have enough to serve the Lord’s Supper to every person, and that we print enough bulletins.
We will dismiss everyone following the service (10am) so the presbyters can move forward with church business. We are planning for presbytery business to take place in one of the adjacent buildings, thus allowing any visitors to stay in the sanctuary or linger on the church grounds for fellowship without feeling “rushed out.”
